Costs of the BFFM Program

Mike Ogorek's 137 pound & counting weight loss!!
What is the COST of using the Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Program?

The cost to buy the book is $39. I have not purchased another product from Tom nor has he pressured me to buy anything else. I have used absolutely zero supplements with the exception of a daily Centrum multivitamin, Whey Protein powder in some of my meals, and if I’m in a hurry I will eat a Met-Rx meal replacement bar usually because I have an appointment that falls during one of my meals. I also bought a much needed food scale for about $30 at Wal-Mart and the AccuMeasure Fat caliper for $20 at GNC

Additional costs include the additional food you will need to purchase. I would bet that you will see your grocery bill increase and see your dinners out decrease which counteracts the increased groceries. You find it’s easier and more rewarding to eat at home compared to at restaurants. Other costs include work out clothes. For example you will need good running shoes if you choose running as your aerobic exercise. You will also need to do some weight lifting. I believe this can be done with a few sets of dumbbells and free weights or a multi-station machine. If you don’t want to buy any equipment or don’t have the room for it, then join a gym, any gym. For the record during my 137# weight loss I never stepped into a health club or fitness center. I have a few free weights in the basement and a machine that I used. This made it so my kids could be around while I worked out. I currently have a weight room but that is only because I just finished it after the huge weight loss. It’s up to you. For the less motivated people I suggest the fitness center. It’s harder to wimp out once you actually get there.

The fun part of the costs:

CLOTHES…. You will go through lots of clothes. I have spent thousands in clothes over the past year or so. Every time I would get down to a new size I would buy a few new things. I gave Goodwill a few pairs of new pants that I only wore only once. It was such a rush to actually buy clothes that fit at department stores in the malls. It was awesome!!!!

Time… It will take time for you to learn the program and the food is hard to get used to finding the correct ratios for your body AT FIRST. You will spend more time in the grocery store while you are learning! You will spend more time working out or exercising. But if you have a family this can be a group thing. Bike rides, walking/jogging while pushing a stroller, roller blading, and weight lifting. You have to make time for this. I don’t want to hear any excuses. Turn off the TV, go home right after work, it’s all about time management. I have 3 kids, a wife, a dog, and work 40-60 hours a week as the sole income for the family and drive 1 hour each way. If you want it bad enough you’ll make time!! There is always early in the morning. I get up @ 4am everyday. That’s how bad I want it!! That time you just spent getting healthy should have increased your life time not to mention your quality of life. What is that worth?

Attitude… It will need to be a very strong and dedicated person to get onto the correct path. But once you are on the path it is much easier to stay on it. Once you start getting your compliments from others it just gets easier and easier. Keep with your goals and you will find it easier to make time to work out and have fun with the family. The “bounce” will return to your step and your self PRIDE will continue to grow and grow. What is that worth?

Image… Going to the pool with your kids and not being embarrassed to get in the pool with them and play. Same goes for your dates or friends. I know how embarrassing it is to get in the pool with your shirt on. Everybody knows why you are wearing that shirt. Don’t kid yourself. What about going shopping with the family/friends? Is it fun not being able to get anything but the huge clothes? Not a real good selection is there? If you tell me you don’t care about what other people say or think about you than you are only kidding yourself to a point. You are a reflection to the world for your family/ friends. What is that worth?

Opportunities… When is the last time you got a (POSITIVE) second look from the opposite sex walking down the street? How did that make you feel? How do you fit in the movie theater seats, the seats for all the rides at Disney World, Six Flags, or any other amusement park? Did you go in any of the water parks? How about even getting in and out of your car, or is the booth a little snug at your favorite restaurant? It’s very hard to go and do anything with your family, friends, or a date when you are overweight. I know a lot of people are overweight and they still get by with life. BUT I AM HERE TO TELL YOU THAT I FEEL THINGS IN LIFE ARE 100% EASIER AND MORE ENJOYABLE WHEN YOU ARE NOT OVERWEIGHT AND YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF!!!!! I have been there before for most of my life. BEING OVERWEIGHT SUCKS!!

Now what is that worth to you? How do you put a price on that? $39 is nothing to remove yourself from those situations.

These are all costs that you control with the exception of the book. Spend what you want on the rest. I shouldn’t have done what I did on the clothes but it was too much fun getting all the compliments. I also had it set up as part of my goals to reward my self.

Good Luck and Get MAD Fitness!
